Robots today all have moving parts and serve some function. To better understand the mechanics and how they relate to programming the movements, the VEX IQ robotics program is a path to that understanding.
Why VEX IQ Robotics?
VEX IQ is based on easy to assemble parts system specifically designed to build highly functional robots. This system doesn’t require any prior knowledge in robotics. Students can easily build and code their first robot through guided instruction and progress through a path of challenging activities. They can then advance further to VEX IQ Challenge teams where students are tasked with design and build a robot to play with other teams in a game-based engineering challenge.
This class is led by Gayatri Mistri, a noted VEX instructor and engineer.
Session A: Grades 3-5
