Description

LEGO WeDo Robotics (Grades K-2)

Oct 23 - Nov 13, Wednesdays, 6-7pm, 4 weeks

This class is perfect for younger children, grades K-2! Students are introduced to basic robotics and mechanical engineering using the LEGO Education Wedo system where they learn concepts by building and coding a different project each week. Projects use motors, gears, pulleys, cams, and sensors! Independent building challenges will be given to students as they progress through levels using the LEGO WeDo 1 and Wedo 2.0 education kits. Build a robotics soccer kicker and goalie, robotic crocodile, science rover, and more.

LEGO WeDo Robotics is a repeatable program where children are placed based on skill and experience. Students move up a level each time they take the class in order to take on more advanced concepts and activities, continuously learning.
